Nora is coloring now. Last night, she sat on my lap while I did some work on my laptop. She ws just using my pen on a manila folder. When she was done, she bent over the paper very purposefully and spit on the paper and then smeared it around a little. And then, was done.

I'm envisioning NEA funding, protested exhibits, and even more black turtlenecks. I'll photograph it later. Any mom would be proud.
