thieving republicans or zealous democrats

somebody stole our Obama yard sign. we live in a red state (RED red -- not a hint of purple) and when we put it up we didn't know what to expect. Up until its kidnapping, the only thing that had happened was a drive-by shouting "Obama sucks!"
So, who has it? A really zealous democrat who just couldn't wait any longer to get a yard sign (they're hard to get)? Or, a thieving republican who opposes Obama so passionately that they were willing to trespass and steal? Either way, I suppose I should be glad that our little sign inspired someone else to participate (however criminally or ineffectively) in the democratic process.
