our old floors. Please allow yourself time and energy to appreciate all of the different flooring we have in what amounts to one big room. Three kinds of linoleum, plywood, 2x4s, finished (classy) plywood, oak, and a nice tar/newspaper combo. My favorite though is the strip of concrete which Nora used to stop at and kiss. It's our own little blarney stone. I'll miss it. I won't miss having to be super creative with rugs and cleaning.
